A small plane was forced to make an emergency landing on a soccer field in Southern California, striking a pedestrian during landing, local officials are reporting.
The incident took place about 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, on 6300 block of Carson in Heartwell Park, the Long Beach Fire Department reported.
