Birmingham activists charged federally for fire in Lakeshore Walmart during Jabari Peoples protest

Two Birmingham activists have been indicted on federal charges in connection with a fire deliberately set inside a Homewood Walmart during a Jabari Peoples protest.

Mercutio Southall, 41, and Lillian Jayne Colburn, are indicted in the Northern District of Alabama on a charge of arson, according to court documents unsealed Wednesday.
