Rohi’s Readery, with support from Related Ross Foundation and volunteers from the Miami Dolphins’ Third Annual Football Unites Jason Jenkins Days of Service, will host Rhythms of Humanity, a family-friendly block party honoring 100 years of music, culture, and literacy in the Historic Northwest district of West Palm Beach.
The block party will take place on October 25, from 2 to 6 p.m., and invites the community to explore the past, present, and future of music and culture through performances, storytelling, food, and interactive stations.
The event commemorates two centennial legacies: the first being Rohi’s Readery founder Pranoo Kumar Skomra’s grandmother, Rohini, whose spirit continues to inspire generations at Rohi’s Readery; and the one hundredth anniversary of the Sunset Lounge, the cultural landmark that shaped music, joy, and Black excellence in the Historic Northwest…
