High-speed chase in Rogers County ends with arrest of suspect wanted on multiple warrants

ROGERS COUNTY, OKLA. (KTUL) — A high-speed chase in Rogers County ended with the arrest of a suspect who had multiple warrants.

The chase began when a Rogers County Sheriff’s deputy tried to stop a Chevrolet pickup truck on Wednesday, Oct. 22, but the vehicle took off, reaching speeds of 100 mph, according to the sheriff’s office.

At the end of the pursuit, the driver fled into a wooded area along the Verdigris River. Authorities searched the vehicle and found over two ounces of methamphetamine…
