Wichita man accused in Broadway stabbing faces attempted murder charge

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A man accused of stabbing another man during a fight on Broadway Avenue in Wichita last week made his first appearance in court Wednesday.

Gerald Elkins Jr., 39, of Wichita, is charged with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated battery in connection with a stabbing that wounded a 40-year-old man.
