Man arrested with fentanyl, narcotics, cash in North Charleston traffic stop

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A West Ashley man was arrested Monday night after North Charleston police said they found fentanyl, other narcotics, and a large amount of cash during a traffic stop.

At about 8:15 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle near Kraft Avenue and Ubank Street and saw the driver, later identified as 30-year-old Taron Bernard German Jr., attempting to hide by slumping down in his seat, according to the North Charleston Police Department.

Police said two marijuana blunts were visible next to German, and a juvenile passenger was also in the vehicle…
