PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Drivers across Pinellas County should brace for significant delays as the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 7 has announced a comprehensive schedule of lane closures and construction activities spanning from Sunday, October 26, through Friday, October 31, 2025. The work affects major interstate segments, alternate routes, and primary north-south corridors, with a mix of nighttime, daytime, and long-term closures.
Interstate travelers will see the biggest impact during overnight hours. On I-175 from 16th Street S to 4th Street S, lane closures are scheduled nightly from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., Sunday, October 26, through Thursday, October 30.
Similarly, on I-275 between the end of the southbound express lanes and 38th Avenue North, closures will be in effect nightly from 8:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. during the same Sunday-to-Thursday period.
