DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The family of the Dunbar High School student fatally shot at Wright Stop Plaza earlier this year has filed a lawsuit against the Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority for alleged negligence.
The 39-page wrongful death lawsuit was filed with the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court late Tuesday.
The lawsuit claims that for over a decade, the RTA was aware of safety issues for juveniles and other riders at the Wright Stop Plaza, yet they still signed a contract in 2019 with Dayton Public Schools to use the hub for school transportation…
