EVANSVILLE, Ind (WEHT) – Southwest Indiana Recovery and Empowerment is launching reentry and recovery support programs at the Vanderburgh County Jail.
Officials state with an office housed inside the jail’s visitation section, SWIRE’s peer coaches will begin meeting with individuals while still in custody, ensuring each person will have a personalized plan and connection to resources before release.
