FRESNO, Calif. (KGPE) – Connie Moncivais-Waldrop has dedicated herself to honoring an unknown individual buried in a Central Valley cemetery, transforming a forgotten grave into a place of remembrance.
After discovering the unmarked grave while visiting family, Moncivais-Waldrop felt a strong connection to the site, which had been neglected for years due to destroyed records from a fire in the early 1900s.
