The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office elevated a group of its personnel today, as Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz confirmed a new wave of promotions within the department. A total of 29 deputies and officers stepped up the ranks, in a move that not only recognized individual merit but also aimed to bolster leadership within the law enforcement community.
According to an announcement from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, the ceremony witnessed 22 deputies rising to the role of Sergeant, six Sergeants climbing to Lieutenant, and one Lieutenant assuming the responsibilities of Captain.
