A realtor involved in a rear-end collision admitted to police that she’d been drinking at Brownwood in The Villages.
Kathleen Patricia Kelly, 31, of Oxford Oaks, was driving a 2021 Infiniti utility vehicle when she struck the rear-end of another vehicle at about 10 p.m. Tuesday in a northbound lane of Powell Road at County Road 466A, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. The Pennsylvania native, who operates the Katy Kelly Group selling local real estate, admitted she had been drinking at Brownwood prior to the crash. She also said the light had turned green and she had “expected the vehicle in front of her to move forward,” according to the report.
