Marion County man accused of DUI manslaughter in July crash that killed motorcyclist

An Ocklawaha man turned himself in at the Marion County Jail on Oct. 22 after Florida Highway Patrol troopers said they had enough evidence to arrest him on charges of DUI manslaughter, vehicular homicide, DUI with property damage and DUI.

Matthew Alexander Beall met with FHP Traffic Homicide Investigator John Gurrieri and was booked. Beall is being held without bail.

On Oct. 23, Beall, age 22, was supposed to make his first court appearance in front of County Judge Lori Cotton. They gathered via Zoom, with Beall at the county jail and the judge at the courthouse…
