WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Palm Beach County Fire Rescue is trading fire hoses for leashes Friday night as local firefighters team up with shelter dogs in a heartwarming effort to promote pet adoption and raise funds for animal welfare.
In collaboration with Local 2928 and Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control, the department is unveiling the 2026 Firefighters & Dogs Calendar, a fundraiser featuring Palm Beach County’s bravest alongside adoptable dogs from the shelter.
