AUSTIN (KXAN) — A 34-year-old man was identified Wednesday in a fatal motorcycle-vehicle crash that happened over the weekend in south Austin, according to the Austin Police Department.
That man was identified as Mario Esai Navarro, according to police.
1 person critically injured after motorcycle crash in south Austin
APD officers responded to the crash in the 9500 block of South First Street shortly before 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19., per a news release from APD.
The motorcyclist, later identified as Navarro, was taken to a local hospital and later died from his injuries, according to police. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and cooperated with investigators.
