ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Whitman Street in Rockford is scheduled to reopen on Monday, signaling completion of a $10 million reconstruction project.
Work began in February to remove and replace pavement, driveway aprons, sidewalks, curbs and gutters, upgrade storm sewers and water mains, and traffic signal upgrades.
