A devastating industrial accident claimed the life of a 50-year-old man in downtown Wichita, and the Wichita Police Department is now urging caution and awareness in light of the incident.
The deceased has been identified as Phonesay Rasbandith, and the accident occurred early Wednesday morning when he was operating a hydraulic press and was fatally injured when a piece of metal separated.
