COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — What started as a heartbreaking discovery has turned into a story of hope — and second chances.
The Franklin County Dog Shelter stopped by Good Day Columbus for Fur Baby Friday, bringing with them five adorable six-week-old dachshund-mix puppies: Magnolia, Elm, Ash, Adler, and Maple. Just a few weeks ago, these tiny pups were found inside a box in a dumpster near the shelter — covered in fleas and sores.
Thanks to the shelter’s incredible medical team, the puppies have made an amazing recovery. They’re now healthy, playful, and thriving in foster care until they’re old enough for adoption…
