Harrisburg mayor fined for using city-owned dumpster for personal trash: Ethics Commission

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHP) — Harrisburg Mayor Wanda Williams is agreeing to pay a fine after the State Ethics Commission said she used her authority to get a city-owned dumpster for personal use in 2022.

A decision on September 19 orders Williams to pay a total of $912.70 after she reportedly instructed a subordinate employee to provide the receptacle at no cost to her.
