St. Louis Allocates $2.7M for Affordable Housing Projects in The Ville and South City

The City of St. Louis Community Development Administration, working alongside the Missouri Housing Development Commission, has allocated $2.7 million to support three projects focused on providing accessible and affordable housing for residents. The partnership seeks to revitalize neighborhoods through a combination of new construction and renovated housing units.

Announced on September 5, the funding reflects city officials’ ongoing efforts to support mixed-income communities and promote neighborhood revitalization. The projects are specifically aimed at initiatives in The Ville and Greater Ville, as well as preserving historic housing in South City areas. It was reported by the City of St. Louis that the three developments combined will impact over 130 homes.
