They include The Crockett, The Menger Hotel, Drury Riverwalk, Hotel Gibbs, and the St. Anthony just to name a few. And of course these are all hotels you can stay at and enjoy. But one hotel is known not only as the most haunted in Texas, but as one of the most haunted in the United States.
The Emily Morgan Hotel, The Most Haunted Hotel In Texas
The most haunted in Texas? According to many it’s the one rising above and standing beside the Alamo.The Emily Morgan Hotel. Built in 1924, it was originally used as a Medical Arts Building that housed doctors offices and a hospital. In 1976, the building was converted into office space, but was then transformed into the hotel it is today in 1984. According to the hotel’s website, it is believed that at one time a section of the building was devoted to caring for those with psychological issues.
