Working smoke alarm credited with preventing major fire at Tulsa apartment complex

TULSA, OKLA. (KTUL) — Tulsa firefighters say a working smoke alarm helped prevent a potentially serious apartment fire Wednesday morning near 61st Street and South Yorktown Avenue.

Crews from Engine 29 and other District 3 units responded around 8:20 a.m. to reports of smoke inside a unit at the Cambridge Condos.
