New Roundabout Planned for ‘Five Points’ Intersection in Webster Township to Improve Traffic and Safety

The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) plans to build a single-lane roundabout at the ‘Five Points’ intersection of Huron River Drive, Joy Road, and Mast Road in Webster Township. The project will use a $1.12 million federal Carbon Reduction Program grant.

The goal is to reduce traffic congestion and improve safety at the intersection. Project Manager Kevin Dubnicki said the roundabout is expected to improve traffic flow, reduce delays, and lower vehicle emissions.
