West Baltimore residents outraged after ambulance stuck on redesigned Gwynn Falls Parkway

BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF) — West Baltimore residents are voicing their frustration over the redesigned Gwynn Falls Parkway, which they said is causing dangerous delays for emergency vehicles.

The road, repaved and redesigned two years ago, was reduced from two westbound lanes to one with a new row of parking added. This week, an ambulance became trapped between the median and parked cars, unable to reach an emergency until traffic cleared.

Eric Corbin, who witnessed the incident, said, “He just sat there with his siren on.”…
