SWAT team successfully resolves hostage situation involving 8-year-old in Baltimore home

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Baltimore police responded early Saturday morning to a home in the Cheswolde neighborhood after reports of a man armed with a handgun who was possibly endangering an 8-year-old child.

The incident occurred in the 2600 block of Steele Road following a call about an armed individual.

Once officers arrived, they were advised that a 37-year-old man was inside the home with a handgun, along with his 8-year-old male relative, who might be in danger, according to authorities…
