More help needed to care for emaciated horses rescued from Tri-State facility

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Cincinnati Animal CARE is calling for more donations for the continued care of rescued horses from an animal cruelty case.

The shelter rescued 18 horses from Muddy Water Equestrian in Springfield Township in August. One collapsed and had to be euthanized. The rest of the horses are in the care of Fighting Chance rescue.

Due to repeated court delays, no court-ordered financial assistance has been issued, according to Cincinnati Animal CARE. The horses will be in care of the rescue for at least another month…
