(WNY News Now) – KENNEDY, N.Y. — A Jamestown man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after allegedly violating an active Order of Protection, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a residence in Kennedy around 3:30 p.m. on October 22, 2025, for a reported violation of an Order of Protection. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victim and determined that the individual had received a letter from a person they were legally protected from contacting.
Following an investigation, deputies identified the suspect as 24-year-old Robert I. Owens IV of Jamestown, New York. Authorities said the letter constituted a violation of the third-party contact provision of the existing stay-away order…
