It is without a doubt, things like this that make me so glad I live in Alabama. You never know what you are going to encounter in our great state.I was invited to a career fair at the University of Alabama yesterday, and it was a really good time. It was flattering to get an invitation to represent media and Townsquare Media to the students at the University of Alabama. ROLL TIDE!

I met over 100 students individually, and one-on-one, and several of them were from Mobile, Alabama.

Those students from Mobile definitely got where I was coming from, as I told them, anytime we get wind of a story that is crazy or something is just off in a significant way. It is always in Mobile.

They laughed and agreed. However, in this case, what you are about to see happened right on and in one of our beautiful Alabama lakes. Recently, we did a story on some of the most beautiful lakes in Alabama, and this was a big winner.

Smith Lake was the site of something I can’t say I have ever seen in my lifetime. Are you ready to take a look?
