NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man reportedly shot at a Metro Nashville Police Department detective on Friday afternoon on Skip Jack Drive.
According to the MNPD, the detective, who serves on the department’s TITANS Unit, was on his break in an unmarked police vehicle when 52-year-old Otis Beach — a previously convicted felon — pulled up beside him in a Hyundai Genesis. The detective was wearing plain clothes at the time of the incident.
