WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – It is a stormy start to the day, but the heavy rain and thunder will soon come to an end with most areas seeing widely scattered showers and/or drizzle this afternoon and evening. However, a second round of light to moderate rain will roll across the state tonight and Saturday. Most areas will be dry by sunset tomorrow with rainfall totals between one and two inches.
After a couple of days in the 70s, today and Saturday will be much cooler with steady afternoon temperatures in the middle to upper 50s, or ten degrees below normal for late October. Factor in the rain and clouds and it will feel even cooler.
Sunday promises to dry, but skies will stay mostly cloudy and that will keep temperatures cooler than normal. Expect highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s…
