Albuquerque Launches Window Repair Grants for Small Businesses Affected by Vandalism

The City of Albuquerque has announced new window grant funding for small businesses affected by vandalism. The program is a joint effort by the Economic Development Department’s Small Business Office, the Health, Housing & Homelessness Department, and the Albuquerque Police Department. It aims to help businesses cover the cost of repairing or replacing damaged windows.

Mayor Tim Keller said the city remains committed to supporting local businesses. The grant will prioritize businesses in designated Pockets of Poverty. It is open to brick-and-mortar businesses with 25 or fewer employees, as well as some nonprofit and educational organizations in Albuquerque.

Eligible businesses can be reimbursed for up to 80% of window repair or replacement costs, with a maximum of $3,000 per business.
