Pedestrian hospitalized after hit-and-run on Clifford Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Officers with the Rochester Police Department say a male pedestrian, 55, was struck Friday evening in the area of Rohr Street and Clifford Avenue in Rochester.

Officers say the man was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital. His injuries are not considered life-threatening. Clifford Avenue is closed from Spiegel Park to Manitou Street. Officers say the vehicle fled the scene westbound on Clifford Avenue.
