JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – We are on track to see a soggy weekend with showers and thunderstorms starting as early as mid-morning on Saturday. On and off rain will continue throughout the afternoon, then our big weathermaker will move in Saturday night.
Saturday night through early Sunday morning, we will have widespread heavy rain and a few isolated severe thunderstorms. Severe ingredients will be better in southwest MS, but the greatest threat remains flash flooding, which will be possible anywhere across central MS.
