AT&T: Squirrels, not trees, to blame for Broadmoor wifi woes

SHREVEPORT, La. — AT&T engineers told Caddo Parish commissioners it’s squirrels, not trees, behind Broadmoor’s internet outages.

The telecommunications giant is currently rolling out a $2.1 billion plan to replace copper with high-speed fiber statewide.

Regional Director LaVar Greenhouse briefed the Caddo Parish Commission on the project, telling members residents could soon see faster internet and fewer outages…
