Saturday brought another day of gloomy skies with pesky, annoying light rainfall. Sunday is looking to play out much the same way.
Rainfall will kick off the morning hours for areas mainly east of Highway 65. Precipitation could spill into the western portions of our viewing area, but mostly as light showers and sprinkles.
Rain will be heaviest in the morning before slowly tapering off and becoming more scattered by the afternoon. Areas to the west can expect to pick up between 0.25 and 0.5 inches of rain.
The gray skies and cooler temperatures will stick around for Monday, but rain looks unlikely. We’ll have to wait until Tuesday for our next shot at precipitation.
A cold front will march in late Tuesday, bringing reinforcements of chilly fall air and a decent chance for additional light rainfall Tuesday night into Wednesday.
Sunshine will make a long-awaited return on Thursday, but don’t expect it to come with a big warm-up. Highs will remain trapped in the 50s through the end of the week.
It’ll be dry and chilly with temperatures right around the 50-degree mark for Halloween night… so good luck convincing the kiddos to put on a jacket before heading out the door!…
