More than 1,400 New Mexicans attend Community Assistance Fair held by PNM

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – More than 1,400 New Mexicans came out to learn more about receiving help with their utility bills. PNM hosted its annual Community Assistance Fair on Saturday at Albuquerque High School. Attendees could find help with all sorts of services, like food assistance, mortgage information, and clothes.

“I’ve spoken to a few folks in line and a few of our vendors. Everybody’s been really busy all morning. But we’re getting folks connected to essential resources, and really, that’s what we’re here to do. I think so far it’s been a successful event,” said Julia Monge, Low Income Outreach Manager, PNM.
