GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – A Gainesville man was arrested Saturday on multiple battery charges, including battery on police officers.
According to the arrest report, Johntavis Taylor, 31, got into an argument with the victim, who he lives and shares a child with. He threw her onto their bed, repeatedly hit her and dragged her by her hair after she tried to flee to a neighbor’s house.
