Street poet hits the right keys

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Late nights in Lexington can be quite noisy, but if you listen closely enough, you might find a man on his typewriter, handing out free poems to anyone passing by.

Curtis Kaiser is a modern-day Shakespeare to some. Except he’s a bit old school.

If you ask him what his thought process is, he’ll reply, “I try to really not think too much at all and just kind of let things happen, as weird as that may sound.”…
