In a recent communication disseminated through social media, the Germantown Police Department detailed a series of disturbing incidents – all involving domestic assault within familial circles. Three separate events, each a stark reminder of the intimate violence that lies behind closed doors, were recorded on Thursday, according to the Germantown Police Department’s post.

The first call came in at 12:45 p.m. from the 7800 block of Grove Court West. A victim reported “a physical altercation with a family member,” laying bare the often-hidden trauma of domestic strife. The scene would repeat itself later that afternoon, twice over. At 3:30 p.m., another distress signal was raised from the 7800 block of Wolf River Boulevard.
