NYPD Seeks Public Assistance to Identify Suspect in Subway Robbery at Simpson Street Station

The NYPD is seeking information regarding a robbery that occurred on October 18, where a 39-year-old man was assaulted on the northbound ‘2’ train at the Simpson Street subway station. According to the NYPD Crimestoppers social media post, the victim was attacked around 5:10 P.M. by an unknown assailant who snatched the victim’s necklace and repeatedly punched him, inflicting pain and noticeable swelling.

Detectives from the NYPD’s 41st Precinct and Transit District 12 are investigating the incident and asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect who fled on foot. A full description…..
