A homeless man was arrested for battery after taking his frustration out on another patient at Lifestream Behavioral Center.
Officers responded to Lifestream Behavioral Center, located at 2020 Tally Road, regarding a battery around 1:20 p.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. An employee advised that 46-year-old Sean Joseph Clifford attacked another patient.
Upon arrival, the officers met with the employee who stated the patient had been taken to UF Health Leesburg Hospital, located at 600 E Dixie Ave., due to a facial laceration from the incident. The employee had heard the battery happening, but there were no witnesses. CCTV was also not working, the report said.
Another employee stated the patient was standing in line in the cafeteria area when Clifford walked up behind him. He then punched the patient in the face with a closed fist, the report said…
