Residents of Largo have an opportunity to clean out their medicine cabinets for a cause today. The Largo Police Department, in collaboration with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), is hosting a Drug Take Back event, aimed at collecting unused or expired prescription medications for safe disposal. The initiative is part of the nationwide effort to prevent drug addiction and overdose deaths.
The event, which runs from 10 am to 2 pm, offers a no-questions-asked policy for individuals looking to dispose of medications that could otherwise become a source of abuse.
