SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – A damp chill lingers over the Sioux Empire early Saturday, clouds holding steady in the predawn gray. After a quiet start, stronger winds and rain-producing systems will return late Sunday into Monday, bringing the first signs of November’s colder push.

According to the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls, mild air will hold through the weekend with Sunday highs climbing to the mid-60s. South-southeast winds will strengthen through the afternoon, gusting 25 to 30 mph ahead of a developing cold front.
