Georgia’s final 5 games forces UGA to endure something they aren’t used to

Georgia is officially past their bye week, and standing in front of them is an extremely important final five games. The Bulldogs are the No. 5 team in the country and still have a great chance to win the SEC and make the College Football Playoff, but they need to survive these five games if they are going to accomplish either.

Usually the final stretch of every season sees UGA face a gauntlet of difficult teams ready to ruin their season. While every team Georgia faces will still want to ruin their season, it is not the difficult test that UGA is used to facing.

Georgia’s final 5 games is as easy as it gets

Kirby Smart and Georgia have three game remaining in the SEC, but all three opponents are not very strong. Up next for Georgia is a date with 3-4 Florida followed by a road trip to 4-4 Mississippi State. After that is Georgia’s most difficult conference game left on their schedule in Texas, but the Longhorns are not the team anyone expected them to be this season.

Georgia has earned the right to finish with an easy slate of games since they’ve already played Tennessee, Alabama, Auburn and Ole Miss, but it is a little strange to have such an easy finish to their season…
