Woman shot by Detroit Police after attempting to ram her car into officers: DPD

DETROIT (WWJ) An officer-involved shooting in Detroit injured a woman who attempted drive her car into police, authorities said.

Detroit Police told WWJ they attempted to pull the woman over on McNichols at Sherwood, just west of Van Dyke, during the afternoon of Sunday, October 26.

“She wouldn’t show her driver’s license and registration. She wouldn’t get out of the vehicle,” Detroit Police Chief Todd Bettison said. “She did, from what I’ve been told, make a call to 911.”…
