MADISON, Ala. — Madison City Schools will hold a public comment session Monday for families to weigh in on the district’s preliminary rezoning plan before the Board of Education votes on boundary changes for the 2026-2027 school year.
The session will run from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the boardroom at the Madison City Schools Central Office Building on Celtic Drive.
“We truly appreciate the feedback we’ve received throughout this process—it has been valuable in shaping our proposal,” district officials said in a statement to families. “We understand that changing schools can be challenging, and we are committed to ensuring that every student affected by rezoning receives a warm welcome and a positive experience at their new school.”…
