MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — News13 and the Grand Strand Medical Center came together Saturday for a “Crush the Crisis” drug takeback event at the Seaboard Street Target.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., community members dropped off unneeded prescription drugs in in the parking lot, with Grand Strand Regional Medical Center pharmacists helping to collect old and expired pills.
Organizers said it’s a great way to help get the wrong medicines out of circulation while disposing of them safely with help by Myrtle Beach police…
