A Collaborative Approach to Equitable Parking Enforcement and Sustainable Transportation
On Tuesday, October 21, the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and loan agreement with the Isla Vista Community Services District (IVCSD) to launch a dedicated parking compliance program in Isla Vista. The IVCSD Board of Directors approved the documents on October 14th.
This collaboration marks a major milestone in addressing long-standing parking congestion in the most densely populated unincorporated area of the County.
