Severe Thunderstorm Threat Then Cooler Weather Arrives Midweek

Before it’s all said and done, we are expecting about 2 to 4 inches of rain total, with locally higher amounts possible. After today and tonight’s active weather with more thunderstorms, tomorrow brings more early thunderstorms in the morning followed by partly cloudy skies, with a high near 80 degrees. So by the late morning, the day looks much better with the sun returning. We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds Monday with a high of 78, and then a much cooler airmass truly settles in by midweek, with sunny skies and highs in the low to mid-60s Wednesday and Thursday, and some 40s for overnight lows Thursday and Friday mornings – quite a change from what we’ve been experiencing!
