Boise could add a new park and more Foothills open space if two proposals announced this week are approved by the City Council.
City officials announced Friday that a local landowner and utility offered land for the new projects, which will go before the council for approval next week.
Foothills landowner Greg Satz and his family offered to donate 44 acres of land off of Warm Springs Avenue near Warm Springs Golf Course. According to a news release from the city, the donation would expand open space options near the Mesa and Table Rock reserves and could create trail connections for nearby Table Rock trails, which are part of the Ridge to Rivers trail system…
